Permits, utilities and solar billing rules change block by block here: LADWP, Burbank Water and Power, Pasadena Water and Power and SCE all serve parts of the county.
Santa Clarita Valley
City of Santa Clarita communities and the unincorporated areas around them use different permit offices; all are served by Southern California Edison.
Ventura County
Each city runs its own permit office, and most participate in Clean Power Alliance while SCE delivers the power.
